Rain, Rainy weatherImage via Wikipedia

Rain
Rain drops rain falls
Raining on every one
Rain drops
On tree tops
Washing away the dirt
With clean leaves to boast
Rain falls
On roof tops
Cooling the heated walls
Soothing the abode
Rain falls
On plains
And lush fields
Dancing with pride
Rain falls
On dried charred earth
Quenching its thirst
Of many a years
Rain falls
On mountain tops
Decorating it with wild flowers
Rocks shine from afar
Rain drops
On breached hearts
To give renewed hope
And live yet again
Rain drops
On saddened eyes
Brightening its sight
To see new dreams
Rain drops
On all alike
Guiding a way
 To continue
And never stop believing
In you!

Thank you God for every thing
I thank you lord of the universe so vast
Beyond our imagination you cast
A tapestry of wondrous scenery
A heaven and earth made
Especially for us
To praise you and seek your blessings
A home made suitable for us to live
And adorned it for our benefit
As you knew very well
How ungrateful we will be
For all that you have given us
Never thank full for your mercy
You created us from scratch
And gave us the knowledge that we possess
We think we can accomplish every thing
In fact we are capable of nothing
Without your guidance and benevolence
Our minds too small to grasp it all
Make us turn to you for all our needs
Rest assured that you will make
Every thing all right for us
Granting us a second chance
With a clean slate we advance
And error yet again
But you are the one who never tires
To forgive us and forget our sins
If only we have faith in you
Can we succeed and live anew

Lovelorn
Without you I just exist
I sleep but not dream
I live but I am not alive
I laugh but I am never happy
Every day a passing agony
Each step a mountain to climb
The winding clock has me entwined
In its ticking music of time
The grey evening so bleak
Silently bickering in mockery
Making fun of my misery
I wonder at my self in disbelieve
Why does love elude me?
Will loneliness be my destiny?
As I argue with myself
I wonder if this is how you felt
When you went so far away from me
Do you ever think about me?
Is this pain in your heart too
Do you ache for me the way I do?
Or is it just my fantasy?

While you were gone
The sun was shining
Days passing
Nights were serene and quiet
But you were missing
From my life
Only then did I realize
How empty it all seems
When there is not you beloved
To hold you in loves folds
Time stands still
You can never find the will
To do things as usual
As nothing seems worth while
Without the reassurances
Of things to be all right
A strange silence transcends
Engulfing all there is
The heart wishes to take flight
And be right by your side
Never to part ways
No matter what the world says
Just listen to your heart
And never let love depart
For without it
One ceases to exist

My Childhood friend

When our universe was really small
Friendship was all we cared for
Playful little entities
Blissfully unaware
Of worldly complexities
And lived in life's simplicities
Laughter and joy was every where
No costly toys did we possess
In fairly tales we would reside
The leisure days were filled with fun
Carefree we use to run
And play tirelessly in the blazing sun
You were always so precarious
With shoe laces never tied
Daring and bold in your stride
Your footsteps my guiding trail
I use to follow you in awe
Thinking you are so brave
You could slay fierce dragons
And fight in battles with chivalry
Admired you in every way
Then we parted and grew away
Got engrossed in life's daily rut
Use to wonder where you would be?
If you even remembered me?
One day I happened to find you
So elated at the thought
Impatiently I sought you out
You remembered me to my delight
How happy I was I cannot say
I can still en live that day
But I found to my dismay
Life has changed you in a strange way
You are not what you use to be
I searched for my childhood friend
In vain I could not see
That special bondage of sincerity
You had became a stranger to me
I wish I could seek out that child in you
The mischievously bold, adventurous you
Why have you become so docile?
Whatever happened to the wild streak in you?
Where is that boy I once knew
I hope that you can find him
Please do tell him that
I dearly miss my childhood friend
