Brave
A lone warrior she fought many battles
Tirelessly some within some without
Sought after
Chased
Labelled
Chastisized
Ridiculed
Sacrificed in the name of Honour
Resilient ever more
Rising from the ashes
Stronger to the core
Facing wars for centuries
She bore the brunt of humanity
Keeping intact her sanity
She rightly earned her vanity
An epitome of sensuality
Blue Moon
As the moon flirted with the waves
Casting its silver spell
Holding the ocean in abeyance
Caressing softly the brim of its silhouette
Teasingly playfully all night long
As the stars stared in jealously
The wind so softly whispering
A scared melody
Their passion so intensely fierce
It united them for eternity

A Night to live by
Magical was the night they fell in love
In his arms she could dance
till eternity
The tranquil air stood still
Stars gazed in awe
The moon bearing witness
to this purity
Eyes transfixed hearts trumpeting
A spell so rare casting a trance
to this insanity
Time stood still for them to memorise
Each others fragrances
Their embrace was so intensely
captivating
It made the music churn a new tune
to their melody

My prison
imprisoned in her self
she could hardly breathe
her sufferings long and painful
made her bitter and incomplete
she longed to laugh heartily
and be her playful self again
to feel the air and sunshine
and dance in the rain
she wanted to walk carefree
on the soft sandy beach
where was her lost self ?
she could not recall
where did it go wrong
why did she cry
if only she knew the answers
if only she would try
her freedom was within her
somewhere
