My Desert Oasis

Bare foot I walk on the desert sand

Alone I seek my oasis

To quench my thirst of centuries

I leap towards the shining sand

Thinking that I may have found

My destiny of peace and serenity

Only to find another deception

For what seemed like water

Was nothing but a perception

Yet another lie, one more deceit

Will I ever find my oasis

Which I know surely exists

How long can I survive the heat

Where is my shaded  abode
To shelter my restless soul
And breathe in its fresh air
Drink in the blue waters of love
As I knock on the doors of silence
I only hear an echo of my own footsteps
And my heart sinks
Will I ever find true love
Is there no one for me?

Tears

Tears fall down with out a care

Washing away the pain that cripples

And ails the throbbing heart
Healing the wounds as they fall
Raw is their saltish touch
Stinging but soothing away the hurt
Seemingly lightening the mind
Tears flow to let us know
There will be a new awakening
You will dream afresh after the storm
There is another rainbow awaiting you
Do not fear and let it flow
There will be a new tomorrow
What ever happened that hurt you so

Happened for a good you do not know
So cry away and start your day
For the long night has passed away

Unbreak my heart

Un do the pain that griefs me so
Heal the wounds inflicted on my soul
Undo the burn that stings my eyes 
And tears flow so endlessly
Undo your grip that stifles me so
And let me breath easily
Undo the misery that engulfs me so
And challenges my will to live
Why did you say you loved me
When all you wanted was to hurt me
Your treachery follows me where ever I go
Undo the nightmare that haunts me so
And prevents me from sleeping peacefully
Undo the heart ache you gave me
And make me the person I use to be

Rain

Rain drops rain falls

Raining on every one

Rain drops

On tree tops
Washing away the dirt
With clean leaves to boast

Rain falls

On roof tops

Cooling the heated walls
Soothing the abode 

Rain falls

On plains

And lush fields
Dancing with pride

Rain falls 

On dried charred earth

Quenching its thirst

Of many a years

Rain falls

On mountain tops

Decorating it with wild flowers
Rocks shine from afar

Rain drops

On breached hearts

To give renewed hope
And live yet again
Rain drops 
On saddened eyes
Brightening its sight
To see new dreams

Rain drops 

On all alike
Guiding a way
 To continue
And never stop believing
In you!
