Song of the bees

The busy bees sing and hum
They dance twist and turn
Each day they begin at dawn
On a scared course of nature
In the breeze they design
A beautiful pattern of selfless love
Spreading their wings
They challenge the winds
And make their way
Through forests and gardens
Carrying heavy burdens
Without a complain
Working tirelessly on a job assigned
Giving the precious gift to mankind
Not only do they give honey
Bearing sweet testimony
Teaching a valuable lesson
Of compassion and dedication.
Their mission to give with no return
If only we learn from their example
And do good without a reason

Sea Shore

Walking on the beach as my feet touch the wet sand
I began to look at my life and carefully untangling each strand
What I missed out in life and what life offered me
Peace and tranquil, soothed by the beauty of bounty
Like these endless clouds laden with rain, full of hope
I begin with my earliest thoughts of childhood
My innocent laughter caught me off guard
I heard the playful tunes my feet danced to,
Followed by innocent day dreaming and girlish giggles
Loitering lazily in hot summers and climbing trees
Wondering how to get the best fruit on offering
No tensions of tomorrow no worries of the world
Could ruffle my long tresses or bother my jolly stride
Full of confidence to take on the world by its horns
Artistic and articulate I was thought
Saw every thing with dreamy eyes
When my dreams became nightmares I do not know
When laughter turned into sobs I did not realise,
I was jolted to the horrid facts of life
Fighting with a wooden sword the battle was of course lost.
It seemed that lessons of love were not true
All the values were no where, good and evil did not fair
There were vices I was never aware of, deceit I never saw
Trust was an abstract noun not to be found
Lacking courage to start anew,
Bruised and hurt, with torn wings I dare not fly
Mending them would take awhile delaying flight for some time
Not taught to ever give up recollected myself
like the very birds that adorn this beach sky
Repaired and rejuvenated for yet another journey
East ward or west ward, I do not care
For life only teaches those who dare.
As each wave kisses the sand with a new tide
This restless sea gave me a lesson of continuity,
